CSJ & Pangle notes#

1）Starting from September 1, 2021, Pangolin will provide different platforms for different regions:

  • Mainland China: Pangolin's platform (address: pangle.cn) (Note: including Hong Kong, China and Macau, China)

  • Non-Mainland China: Pangle platform (address: pangleglobal.com) (Note: including Taiwan, China)


2）Starting from September 1, 2021, TradPlus provides two Networks for developers to use, namely, Pangshanjia (Domestic) and Pangshanjia (Overseas):

  • Newly created apps and Ads units in Pangle are configured in TradPlus through the Pangle (Domestic) Networks.
  • Newly created apps and Ad units in Pangle are configured in TradPlus through the Pangolin (Overseas) Networks.

1. Create a Pangle account#

1.1 Register & Log in Pangle#


2. Create Pangle Apps and Ad Units#

1）Click “New+” in the app management to create a new app. Fill in the basic information of the application and submit it. Note that you need to select “Formal” for the application properties.


2) In App Management, select the corresponding app and click “Add” to create a new Ad unit. If you want to create a Bidding unit, please check “In-App Bidding”.


3） You can choose to open Automated Creation of Ad source and click to turn on the authorization, fill in the currency, Security Key and other information, then you can directly synchronize the appearance of the ad units in pangle's backend after the creation of the ad units in TP.

  • If when creating, it prompts api permission error, please find pangle corresponding AM to open whitelist permission.

3. Configure Pangle Ad units in TradPlus backend#

1）In Pangle backend, Application Management, select the corresponding application and get the App ID and Slot ID.


2）In TradPlus background, find the corresponding unit, click Ad source, fill in App ID and Slot ID.

If you configure Bidding Ad source, you need to enable Header Bidding option when adding Ad source in TradPlus backend.


4. Enable Pangle's Report API Reporting#

1）You need to get Report API privileges from Pangle AM.


2）In the Pangle backend, the Access Center obtains the User ID, Security Key, and Role ID.


3）In the TradPlus backend - Networks - Authorized Ad Platforms, select, fill in the relevant information.


Expected result

At TradPlus Backend - Networks, Pangle shows Authorized.


5. Floor Price Settings#

Configure the floor price when creating an Ad unit.


6. Test Ads#

Enter the Access Center, select Ad Test Acceptance, and click “Add Test Equipment” to add test equipment for testing.
