Columbus

1. Create a Columbus account#

1.1Register & Log in#

  • Need to contact Columbus AM to get it turned on.

2. Create Columbus Apps and Ad Units#

1）Select “Apps” on the main background page, click Apps, and then click Add to add “Add Apps”.


Expected results

  • Click “Apps”, click “View All Apps”, you can see the successfully created apps.


2）Enter the corresponding APP, click “Ad Management”, click “Create”, choose the type of unit you want, fill in the name and bidding type Bidding.


Expected results

  • Go to the app and select “Ad Management” to see the successfully created units.


3. To configure Columbus Ad units in TradPlus backend#

1）In Columbus backend, Ad units page, get the ID and application key of the corresponding ad unit.


2）In TradPlus backend - App Management, select the apps and Ad sources that need to use Columbus, click Add Ad source, fill in App Key, App Secret, Placement ID.

App Key, you need to contact Columbus AM.



It is recommended to configure a Bidding Ad source, which requires the Header Bidding option to be turned on in the TradPlus backend when adding an Ad source. If this option is not available, please contact TradPlus AM to enable it.


4. Enable Columbus’ Report API Reporting#

  • You need to contact Columbus AM to ask for the Report API Token and then authorize the Report API report in the TradPlus backend.


5. Floor Price Setting#

It is recommended to configure Bidding Ads without the need to set a reserve price


6. Test Ads#

The Columbus backend does not support test mode at this time.
