1. Create an AdMob account

1.1 Register AdMob

  • Select country/region: The country and region can not be modified once determined, and need to be consistent with the country of the receiving bank card, generally settled in local currency, the mainland defaults to US dollars, Hong Kong defaults to Hong Kong dollars.

  • AdMob supports Chinese companies to register accounts, but Chinese bank accounts need to support US dollars.

2. Create AdMob Apps and Ad units

1)Click “Apps” - “Add Apps”, whether it has been added to GP or not - select according to the actual situation, enter the media name, select the platform.

  1. Click on the app you just created, click on Ad Units - Add Ad Unit, select the desired type of Ad unit and complete the creation.

3. Configure AdMob units in TradPlus backend

1)In the AdMob backend, ad unit page, find the corresponding ad unit and get the ad unit ID.

2)In the TradPlus backend, find the corresponding Ad unit and click on Add Source.

3)Enter the AdMob unit ID into the TradPlus backend under “Ad Unit ID”.

4. Enable AdMob's Report API Reporting

1) In AdMob background, log in the account you need to authorize reports.

2)In “TradPlus background-Ad Networks-Authorized Networks”, click “Login to Google AdMob account to get authorization information”, then jump to and login to the corresponding AdMob account of the app, and then the authorization will be successful.

5. Floor Price Setting

Enter the corresponding app-ad unit-corresponding ad unit-advanced settings-eCPM floor, and choose "Manual floor" to set the price

6. Test Ads

Admob is highly sensitive to test traffic, and frequent testing will increase the risk of being judged as traffic cheating, resulting in traffic throttling and even account bans.

It is recommended to add a test device for ad testing to avoid account ban due to test traffic.

How to get IDFA/AAID?

  • iOS

Currently, Apple does not display IDFA by default on iOS devices. However, you can retrieve it using a third-party app. Please check the App Store for apps that retrieve ad IDs, or programmatically look up the IDFA.

  • Android

On Android devices, you can find the Ad ID in the device settings. Here's how:

Google will randomly check the configuration of app-ads.txt, if it is not set, it may affect the ad fill. The operation steps are as follows:

The waiting time for unblocking the account may vary from 1 to 4 weeks.
