Test Mode（iOS）

I. Introduction

After integrating TradPlus, developers need to test the aggregated ad platforms and ad types. In order to facilitate developers to verify the integration effect, TradPlus provides the test mode function. After configuring the test mode in the TradPlus background, the test device can directly use the preset ad source of the TradPlus platform for testing.

Prerequisites for configuring test ads:

• (1) The test machine must be a real machine
• (2) Overseas sources need to be able to access Google and other websites normally.

II. Usage

1. Enter test mode

In Advanced Settings ——> Test Mode, enter the test mode setting page of the ad unit

2. Add test device

• When adding a test device, fill in the device ID, device name, application and ad network
• Device ID supports the following content: iOS supports IDFA, IDFV

• As shown in the figure above: configure the test mode of the ad network Facebook, and add the required ad types accordingly

Note:

• After adding or modifying the test mode, it will take effect after 5 minutes. After testing, please close the device's test mode
• TradPlus SDK advertising strategy has a caching mechanism. To verify the effect, after turning on the test mode, increase the phone system time by 1 hour for testing or clear the application cache.
• The system will automatically shut down after 24 hours after the test mode is turned on.
• When using the test mode, you do not need to modify your existing ad unit ID
• After the test device takes effect, the test device will only receive the test configuration of this ad network

3、Confirm whether the test mode is successfully turned on

• Filter "TradPlusLog" to confirm, if there is "** TradPlus TestMode is on*" means it has been successfully turned on, otherwise There will be no Log printing
• It should be noted that the test mode is closed after the test is completed, otherwise will always deliver the advertisement configured in the test mode

III. Notes for configuring some ad sources

1. FaceBook

Prerequisites:

• Authorize IDFA
• Install FaceBook on the developer's test machine and log in to the account, otherwise it will always issue "Error 1001 - No Fill". For questions, please see the official instructions Audience Network Integration Checklist and Ad Request Error Codes

2 Third-party channel test conditions

• For overseas ad sources, some sources can only fill more resources if they switch VPN even if the test mode is turned on, otherwise they will often NO_FILL.
• Pay attention to the reminder in the instructions, some sources can only pull test ad materials in China; if you pull it multiple times and fail, please switch VPN according to the instructions for testing.
